History of the School
Don Restituto Baol Central School is the biggest School in the Division of Gingoog City. It is located at the corner of the National Highway and Motoomull Street, at the heart of the City. It has a two-hectare School Site surrounded with concrete fence. It has ten Buildings, one shop Building, eight bowl comfort rooms and two teachers support unit (TSU) buildings. The School has 400 – meter perimeter athletic oval ground.
The certificate is a transfer from the original Certificate of Title No. T-344; which is cancelled by virtue here of in so far as the above described land is concerned.
DRBCS has 67 teachers with 1 principal II and assisting principal, who is a Head Teacher III. There are 2347 pupils as of July 2008. The Pupils as of July 2008. The pupils are the children of working parents, business operators, market vendors, plain housekeepers, government employees, private office workers, farmers, carpenters and other skilled laborers that support their children for the subsistence and education.
Don Restituto Baol Central School has an area of 40,000 sq meters with lot No. 1305; CAD 295. The status of the School Site acquisition is in Deed of Donation of the City Government of Gingoog City with Tax Declaration No. D-035103, inclusive date occupied by the School since 1950 to the present.
The name of this School was changed through the City Ordinance No. 29, Series of 1993 which was introduced by Kagawads Johnny L. Motoomull Jr. and Democrito C. Lago from South Central School to Don Restituto Baol Central School, Gingoog City in honor of the late Don Restituto Baol, Donor. It was approved and adopted on the 7th day of December 1993.
The said land was originally registered on the 7th day of December in the year nineteen hundred and thirty five, in the registration book of the office of the Register of Deeds of Misamis Oriental, A – 3, page 160, as Original Certificate of Title No., 180, pursuant Decree No. 569766 issued in LRC, Record No. 41657.
